PUSH for Dreams, in collaboration with Prolific Success, LLC, is proud to announce the launch of the “MWBE Pathways to Prime Grant Program,” powered by a grant from Harris County. This program is designed to provide targeted technical assistance, certification and bonding support, and training to minority and women-owned business enterprises (M/WBEs), helping them strengthen their operational capacity and growth strategies. Through this initiative, eligible M/WBE organizations will gain the tools and resources necessary to expand their operations and improve their ability to secure prime contracting opportunities with Harris County.
PUSH for Dreams brings a wealth of experience to this partnership, with over $5 million in contracts successfully secured. The organization excels in outreach, community engagement, mentorship, and programming, which will be instrumental in supporting M/WBEs in their journey toward becoming prime contractors. In partnership with Prolific Success Events & Consulting, a firm with a proven track record of winning eight government contracts as a prime contractor, writing six successful contracts for clients, and serving as a subcontractor on ten contract opportunities, the program offers a unique blend of expertise and operational support.
Additionally, 5th Ward Development, led by Cameron Jackson, who boasts over 350,000 followers across multiple social media platforms, will play a crucial role in teaching marketing strategies. Their expertise will help M/WBEs effectively promote their services to Harris County and beyond, ensuring that they can successfully compete for business opportunities.
This contract is designed specifically for current and future Minority/Women Business Enterprises (M/WBEs) interested in learning how to become prime government contractors with Harris County. Participants will be educated on the essentials of getting started in government contracting, including understanding the process, obtaining the necessary certifications, preparing competitive bids, and developing effective strategies for marketing the services or products they provide to the county. The program aims to equip M/WBEs with the knowledge and tools needed to succeed in securing prime contracts and growing their business.
